• Support families with a strong education system for our children and grandchildren.
• Implement senior tax programs for those most in need.  We will not forget those who got us here. 
• Support socially responsible programming that helps families and children when they need it most; no entitlements; focused services to help people get back on their feet.   
• Make eliminating waste a priority by streamlining operations and getting our employees involved to  make our services better.
• Create an open accessible government with more resident participation. We will serve Enfield together.
• Work with the Democratic majority in Hartford to bring more of your money home to Enfield.
• Keep Enfield safe through effective public safety policies that get results.

Education is our investment in our future. Our new Board of Education will:

• Push for a goals based budget that is focused on values and student focused outcomes.
• Create policy that will keep students involved in their own education and feeling that they are significant contributors to their and our success. 
• Invest in Enfield's future with a commmitment to early education; building the future one student at a time. 
• Increase focus on technology as a tool that will provide our students a competitive edge in the world.
• Question everything and not settle for "just because we've always done it that way"; innovation and common sense.
• Establish the means to focus on the community, school, parent, child, and teacher partnership.  Success by working together with purpose.

Last term we pledged the 3 R's of the democratic partnership - Responsible, Reasonable and Responsive.    

• We made fiscal responsibility a priority.  Minimal tax increases with 0 mills this year! 
• We utilized talents of in-house staff to limit outside contracts.
• We expanded and improved town's core services while to holding the line on costs.
• We actively supported improved public safety.
• Continued to work with state and federal leaders to bring more money back to Enfield, i.e., Raffia Road improvements, Thompsonville Sewer improvements, Fermi field remediation.
• Supported socially responsible services in Enfield for those who need it most.
